Unfortunately we can't take any orders or issue any quotes for our Harakeke (NZ flax) piupiu at present. Our Piupiu makers are tapped out with orders and we don't want to make promises we can't keep so we won't be issuing quotes until we catch up on the current orders - we''ll update the website when the situation changes. If you're a skilled piupiu maker and looking for work we'd love to hear from you.
We do have our grass skirts that can be tailored to suit different designs, sizes and requirements for both adults and kids so please contact us if these may work for your group.
Harekeke Piupiu are (usually!) made to order and the price is determined by size - please contact us with sizes and quantity and we will supply you with a price. We require the waist sizes in inches, rounded up to the nearest even number, eg 30 or 32 inches, not 31 inches. There is a lot of demand for Piupiu and they do take a long time to make so you need to allow lots of time - for a group set it can be 6 months or more if other orders are already being made. Please let us know if they're for male or female and if you have a preferred length (height) of the strands - we have a standard height we use if you don't have a particular length in mind. Patterns of your choice can be made. Orders for individual Piupiu are also taken.

The feedback we get on the quality of the work is amazing and reflected in the amount of school groups that have re-ordered more Piupiu after receiving their orders.
